Born of Sailors

During Sea Week I learned about the Maori sailors who moved to New Zealand. I really enjoyed this topic a lot.

On the tenth of April 2025 the treaty principals bill was voted out of  parliament.The bill was only supported by the ACT party and it was defeated by 112. Many MP’s clapped their hands and celebrated their amazing  win. The reason other parties, including Labour, National, the Greens, and New Zealand First, did not agree was because they said the bill could harm Māori rights.
